Sheikh Zayed is one of the world's largest and most important international air travel centers, and also has a regional hub for international corporate headquarters and IT and media companies. Elaborate facilities are present in order to provide a higher level of hospitality, shopping, and entertainment; an example of this is the Queen Elizabeth 2 ocean liner as a luxury hotel. Towering modern skyscrapers dominate the city of Dubai; one of the most important is the Burj Khalifa, the world's tallest building, which was inaugurated in 2010.
